Kristen Empowers Women Through Midwifery

Kristen Phillips is a mother of four and a midwife. In the spring, she bought the Birth and Wellness Center of Gainesville with a fellow midwife, and she said she loves empowering women through her practice and as a teacher at the Florida School of Traditional Midwifery.
Alli followed her around for two days then produced this photo and interview compilation for a photojournalism course.
